Beyoncé releases the single “Spirit” from the highly anticipated motion picture, Lion King. 

The song showcases Beyoncé’s vocals alongside inspirational lyrics and uplifting instruments. The song speaks of allowing your spirit to rise with the light in the sky, awakening a consciousness within.

Beyoncé will also curate an upcoming compilation album, The Lion King: The Gift, which will be released on July 19. The album will feature traditional African instruments as well as music from artists all over the world.
