Rappers Lil Kim and Lil Cease reconciled their 15-year feud for mutual loved one’s birthday, the late legendary rapper Notorious B.I.G on May 21.

The fued ended after Lil Kim publicly accepted Lil Cease’s apology for testifying against her in 2005. As a result of the testimony, Lil Kim went to federal prison for one year and ended all relationship ties to Lil Cease and the remaining members of rap group Junior M.A.F.I.A.

Although Lil Cease has publicly reached out to Lil Kim and apologized before, it wasn’t until she was able to heal her own hurt emotions before being able to receive the gesture.

As much as we would like people to forgive us at the time of the act, it isn’t until a hurtful situation is accepted fully (at any time or date) by the hurt party that absolution can occur.
