Pharell Williams Proclaims Victory In Peaceful ‘Something in the Water’ Festival Weekend
Pharrell Williams expressed his pride in being from the state of Virginia and his pleasure of hosting a peaceful Something In The Water festival weekend with over 70,000 thousand attendees and no acts of violence.
Williams continued his on-stage speech by telling the crowd ‘We are Virginia!’ and that the entire weekend was a victory.
No acts of violence ensued the entire weekend among the large mass of people while authorities prepared the event with on-site medical emergency staff and multiple security teams.
Williams’ Something In The Water festival faced the most adversity during its first day due to severe inclement weather. The festival resumed strong on the second day with the most notable ‘Pharell and Friends’ set featuring Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Fam-Lay, Tyler the Creator, Snoop Dogg, Usher, and Diddy.
