Fans of HBO’s Insecure starring Issa Rae will have to postpone their anticipation for season 4 as the network announces their show’s hiatus until 2020.

Issa Rae, the show’s star, creator & co-writer, recently crossed over from television into the movie scene with three projects in the pipeline. A romantic comedy called The Lovebirds, a romantic drama called The Photograph, and the family-friendly feature Little which is currently in theaters.

Even though Issa’s upcoming creative agenda will probably hold over most in the meantime, there are still plenty of avid viewers who will be waiting to find out Nathan’s reason for “ghosting” and to see the outcome of Molly’s apology to Asian bae.

Sigh. The wait continues.
