Chadwick Boseman To Star As Japan’s First African Samurai

Black Panther’s Chadwick Boseman announces his new starring movie role as Yasuke, the never before told story of the first formerly enslaved African to arrive in Japan who is later trained into becoming a samurai.

Boseman, who is known for Avenger films, Black Panther, 42 and Marshall, will continue his momentum in action in his latest project Yasuke.

The story of Yasuke pans out upon the arrival of Boseman’s character to Japan, who eventually bonds with a Japanese warlord over the unification of the country via the military.

The release date for the movie Yasuke is to be determined.
