UNITED STATES–Amidst President Trump’s executive orders of banning countries from entering the U.S., coffee giant Starbucks plans to counter the effort by hiring over 10,000 refugees in 75 business operating locations overseas.

CEO Howard Shultz, made the announcement through a publicly issued statement featuring sympathizing quotes of having a “heavy heart”. Shultz made it clear that his company does not share the same views as Trump and plans to prove it by hiring refugees over the next five years.

Starbucks is also known to publicly deny the Trump’s executive order in constructing the border wall against Mexico. Starbucks had been a long term partner with the country and has created over 7,000 jobs.

Shultz, along with the supporters of Starbucks, hopes to improve relations with Mexico as well as other countries who have been berated by Trumps executive orders.
