LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA–The cast of Hidden Figures were honored with one of the highest accolades of the evening ‘Best Movie Ensemble’ at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, January 29. Watch the speech here!

Taraji P. Henson, who spoke eloquently during the acceptance speech, stood along her costars Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae.

The speech initially spoke of the three black women in which the film was based, Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn, and Mary Jackson who assisted NASA astronauts in traveling space during the 1960s. Henson went further to discuss the importance of the film’s display of unity and how it still relates to social issues of today.
