WASHINGTON D.C.–Thousands of peaceful protestors have gathered Saturday in efforts to ensure women’s rights across the nation one day after Donald Trump’s Inauguration as President.

Organizers and participants of the march hope to bring issues such as the equality among different religious faiths, race, sexual orientation, disabilities, along with recognition of safety for women as well as support for sexual assault victims to the forefront. According to sources, many people feel the rights of women are under attack with America’s Trump Administration.

With support from cities such as Sydney, Berlin, Paris, and Cape Town, Africa, cities all over the world (as well as cities within America) plan to join the event from their respective locations.

The event will feature speeches on behalf of women’s rights and entertainment by celebrity guests in attendance.
