WASHINGTON, DC–Prior to a tough loss and being ejected from the game, Wizards point guard John Wall broke the franchise’s Hall of Fame assist leading record by Wes Unseld for career assists Monday night against the Houston Rockets.

John Wall, who has been in the league for seven seasons, tied Unseld’s record of 3,822 career assists in the first quarter. The record was surpassed by the third quarter with a pass to Bradley Beal for a dunk.

Although Wall was ejected in the last minute of the game with a technical foul for inappropriate language, the record breaker finished with 21 points and 8 assists. The Wizards loss the game 114-106.
