CLEVELAND, OH–Chicago Cubs won their first World Series Championship Title after an 108-year drought over the Cleveland Indians in game 7 with 10-innings (8-7).

The close scoring game, which exchanged leads often, even reached the point of back to back homeruns by Indians center fielder, Raijai Davis over closer Aroldis Chapman.

The game reared to its end after Davis hit a single at bat, putting the Indians an entire run behind. Cubs pitcher Mike Montgomery relieved the situation causing Michael Martinez to hit a slow roller to the infield. Third baseman Kris Bryant then took the opportunity to pick up and throw the ball to first baseman Anthony Rizzo for an out.
