Former 90′s sitcom actress Yvette Wilson, most known from her role as Andell Wilkerson on “Moesha”, is seeking donations from her fans for current medical expenses with cancer.

The former UPN network star who also acted on the spin-off “The Parkers”, has gone through kidney failure as well as transplants over the years and is now taking on a re-visited battle with cervical cancer. According to sources, the cancer has recently returned stronger than ever after an extended period of time.

To ensure the best doctors and to help with traveling expenses, Wilson has asked her fans to support through monetary donations.

The family of Whitney Houston have recently agreed to participate in a reality series for Lifetime television network to allow fans into their lives as they grieve.

A recent press release has noted that the television series will be called The Houston Family Chronicles. Although the title may still be in the works, Houston’s family members Pat Houston (sister-in-law), Pat’s daughter Rayah, Whiney’s brother Gary, daughter Bobbi Kristina and mother Cissy Houston are said to be featured.

Pat Houston was quoted as saying the show will help viewers to see their family as they heal through their time of grief.

Jennifer Hudson’s family murder trial was laid to rest after William Balfour, 31, was found guilty on all accounts for killing her mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew in 2008.

Balfour was said to have committed the crime after believing that his estranged wife Julia Hudson, sister of Jennifer Hudson, was dating another man.

After eighteen hours of deliberation, Balfour was found guilty for three counts of first degree murder as well as convictions for home invasion, aggravated kidnapping, residential burglary, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Former Spotlight Spill artist Carnage45 will be featured on an upcoming compilation album French Revolution with French producer Alterbeats set to be released on June 26th.

Carnage45 will be representing his home state of Virginia by being featured one one track on the compilation album.

NBA’s four-time champion, Shaquille O’Neal, has recently done the unexpected by receiving the highest degree in academics from Barry University on May 5, 2012 in Miami, FL.

O’Neal has revealed to sources that there were three reasons for achieving such an accomplishment. When asked by ABC News, O’Neal responded “One, I promised my parents I would [follow my passion for education]. Two, I wanted to continue my education and three, I wanted to challenge myself.”

As part of the doctorate program, O’Neal submitted a thesis titled The Effects of Humor and Seriousness in Leadership Styles which prompted him to receive his degree.

O’Neal also revealed that no one will be allowed to call him “Shaq” unless they are his children. The former basketball star of 19 seasons in the NBA will rather be called “Dr. O’Neal”.
